Lone Pine Lake via the East Inlet Trailhead

The charming town of Grand Lake sits on the west side of the Rocky Mountain National Park, about 50 miles over the Continental Divide via Trail Ridge Road. Once you arrive in Grand Lake and follow W. Portal Road until you reach the East Inlet Trailhead. There is plenty of parking and a large privy at this trailhead. Happy trails!! Adam A.

Nymph Lake, Dream Lake, Emerald Lake

This rocky mountain lake trio works well for those visiting Rocky Mountain National Park for the first time and in April, often provides snowshoeing opportunity. Sky Pond via the Glacier Gorge Trail head

Sky Pond is one of the most visited Alpine Lakes in the entirety of RMNP and once you are there you understand why. Dynamic views of Powell Peak, Taylor Peak and the Sharkstooth can easily be enjoyed while in this area.
